obscure article by Friedman
[edit]I have deleted that obscure article by Friedman. I was unable to find it in EconLit. Furthermore, Friedman had no publication in AER in that year. --85.116.203.105 23:26, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
"The" part of the title
[edit]I'm not sure if Headbomb's latest revision was a good move.touché! Per the website, "The" is not italicized, which makes me wonder whether 'tis really a part of the title. --Eisfbnore • talk 17:25, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- It's very ambiguous. They indeed don't italicize "the" anywhere in the text as if it is not part of the title. But "The" is included on the journal cover as if it is part of the title... Journalseek does not include "the", nor does WorldCat. However, the Library of Congress does inclue "the"... --Crusio (talk) 17:51, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- I am not sure about the 'the'. The print edition says yes, most online sources (including the official ones) and citation guidlines say no. But another why are there two sections: notable papers and other notable papers? NotYetAnotherEconomist (talk) 18:57, 16 August 2014 (UTC)
