J. Thacher Hurd
[edit]One note at Library of Congress Authorities suggests that "J. Thacher" rather than "John Thatcher" may be his given name (1987). Another not shows that even one publisher has credit him as "John Thacher Hurd" (2007). [1]

FWIW, the dedication of My World (book) is to the recently born "John Thacher Hurd", the full name of which his father Clement Hurd includes in a 1983 article on Margaret Wise Brown. Quine (talk) 19:03, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
