Etymology re-added

[edit]

Since we do aim to be encyclopedic, and people visiting this article would expect to find the etymology of the name Thái Nguyên (as they would expect to find the etymology of any toponym on Wikipedia), I have re-added the Sino-Vietnamese etymology, which is 太原, to this article. Please be on the lookout for editors who would deplete our content by removing it, and revert them promptly. It seems that the editor who did this, who is probably some sort of Vietnamese nationalist, also took it upon himself to unilaterally blank the etymologies of all of Vietnam's provinces from their respective en:WP articles, which is pathetic and damaging. 98.123.38.211 (talk) 02:36, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
