Teo Spiller was the worlds first net.artist, who sold a net.art work to a gallery. Specialy important was, that he organised negotiations between author and buyer as online forum, because it answered many questions about copyright, protection, archiving, etc. of net.art as new, non-material art form. There were writen many articles about it (type |"teo spiller" sold| in Google) and many new media art schools worldwide teach about it.
