Birth Disparity
[edit]There is a bit of a conundrum regarding the exact birthday of Tennyson Guyer.
The house website explicitly states that he was born in November 1913.[1] Contemporary New York Times and Washington Post articles also imply this by claiming an age of 67 on his death at April 1981.[2][3]
However, local sources paint a different story.[4] While I would not normally give the same weight to a local newspaper as a national paper of record, they have do have good founding for their claim: his grave in Findlay, Ohio says 1912.[5]
I'm not quite sure what to do in this situation. --Mbrickn (talk) 10:08, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
- He was my grandfather. We always had his year of birth as 1912. That is therefore the date on his grave marker. 173.72.130.180 (talk) 14:46, 12 June 2023 (UTC)
