How is this different?
[edit]How is this list of 96 tatvas any different than the 96 tatvas acknowledged by almost every other hindu tradition and ayurveda? Should this really be a separate page when these ideas are not unique to Ayyavazhi? I would propose that this page be expanded to include all dharmic religions that include the identical worldview (i.e. add more tags and expand the lede). I would suggest a merge with Human Body – 96 Constituent principles or Tatwas of Siddha Medicine except that this article is much better written (ignoring its narrowing lede). I would however instead argue for the sanskrit spelling of tattva over tatva or tatwa. As I have never done a merge or anything like this I would ask for a little guidance from @Joshua Jonathan: or any other experienced user. Iṣṭa Devatā (talk) 06:32, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
- And from what I can tell, these are not derived from the Akilathirattu Ammanai as the article claims, though it is otherwise a great list and much cleaner than similar lists on wiki.Iṣṭa Devatā (talk) 06:35, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
- A source for the list from the Shaiva Siddhanta tradition. [1] Iṣṭa Devatā (talk) 07:51, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
@Iṣṭa Devatā: apologies for the late response. Regarding merger: see Wikipedia:Merging. Basically: start a merger-thread at the talkpage of the article to which the other page should be merged; add tags to both pages.
Yet, I don't hink that a merger is necessary; there's already Tattva, which seems to be the mainpage on this topic. I think that Human Body – 96 Constituent principles or Tatwas of Siddha Medicine should be renamed, and a short section included in Tattva. Same for Tatvas. And, I think that the Buddhist dhammas (plural) should be included, or linked. I've just created a page on Dhamma theory, since there was no page on dharmas (plural). - I've renamed several articles, and added some info. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 05:51, 9 November 2015 (UTC)
Proposed merge of Jñānendriya into Tattva (Ayyavazhi)
[edit]almost exact copy of the section there on Jñānendriya. Perhaps some of the text can be added to improve the merged to article. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 02:59, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
