Second phase is to MakutOpora, not MakutUpora

[edit]

The second phase will go to Makutopora in Singida Region, not Makutupora, the Dodoma suburb. The mixup is very easily done, as even the quoted source (TRC impact asessment) is mixing both names on the same page whereas it is clear from the map, from the distance and stations mentioned that it is not the Dodoma suburb. I correct. Kipala (talk) 14:06, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Terminals Section

[edit]

Is this section necessary? It seems very redundant to the Location section. I could take time to try to make it more unique or useful, but unsure of purpose it was created for. Would appreciate any ideas, suggestions or explanation of reason I may have missed. Asante. BevoLJ (talk) 10:16, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

SGR Trains

[edit]

According to recent videos on the TRC YouTube channel, it seems like they have the trains form Hyundai Rotem. Lforlalaltx (talk) 02:40, 6 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

SGR to Gitega, Burundi

[edit]
Tanzania SGR plans

Am I right that the March 2023 feasibility study for a Uvinza–Musongati–Gitega Railway (that article has a 2020 reference to metre gauge and no mention of the 2023 study) has replaced the branch from Isaka, as proposed in 2015, off the Isaka–Kigali Standard Gauge Railway? Have I got the current SGR proposals right with this map, showing in green the planned SGR segments, with lengths and planned completion dates in red? There are also maps such as this, showing a planned link from Kigoma to Gitega. Are they just diagrammatic? If I'm right, these articles need updating. Should I update them?
