A fact from Talia Or appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 26 December 2022 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I am Talia Or myself. I have tried to edit this article as it contains sensitive information that I would like to change.
unfortunately I don´t know how to reach you, please contact me at or_talia@hotmail.com.
All the best. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Svenholly (talk • contribs) 20:06, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The above comment was made by user Svenholly. Looking at their talkpage makes me question whether they are really Talia Or, who is almost certainly too busy to waste time e.g. editing science fiction on German WP (See Svenholly's edits on German WP). Also, if the real Talia Or had a complaint about WP, her agent or lawyer would have already contacted WP's lawyers to deal with that. And WP's lawyers would have told her agent that a biography of a living person may contain a year of birth which is already in the public domain, according to WP's guidelines. Also, I believe that if the real Talia Or were nervous about having her year of birth published, she would certainly not be publishing her email address. Therefore I'm guessing that the above email address has been created by someone else without her knowledge or agreement. Storye book (talk) 09:44, 13 December 2022 (UTC).[reply]
Sweet, a nice slander of me (this is SvenHolly). I am actually a friend of Talia Or. She simply used my computer to get in contact. As you can see, she even supplied her email to Gerda Arendt. And what, may I ask, does make you think science fiction is a waste of time, hm? Good things anyways. Svenholly (talk) 17:57, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No slander. Firstly, one has a right to an opinion, and you can see that I was careful to state opinion rather than fact. Secondly, I suggest that you look up the difference between slander and libel. Thirdly, this is not a safe place to publish a private email address. She appears in a German womens opera singers category but I wasn't able to find a single source that states that she is a German naturalized citizen. I decided not to delete her from that category but she will have to be unless someone provides a RS about her German citizenship. She certainly has Israeli citizenship, having being born there.Mistico Dois (talk) 14:34, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
