[edit]Just for the record, classical philologist is not a linguist. --barbatus 15:15, August 30, 2005 (UTC)
kind of funny
[edit]he was born in russian empire, in ukraine, was known for his translations of greek literature into russian, moved to poland after the revolution and he is now a 'polish philologist'. he didn't even stay in poland but died in germany
also the article is poorly written by some, i suppose, pole and its grammar needs some clearing — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.118.64.60 (talk) from Russian Federation, 13:40, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
