Start

[edit]

I've started writing this article on the day of the bridges collapse (not because of that; I finished the article on Wetherby Bridge yesterday). If anyone could help out with any photographs or information, it seems to be not so readily available for Taddy bridge. Mtaylor848 (talk) 20:09, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I've added a bit of architecture from the National Heritage List for England (better to use this than Images of England). I note the video of the bridge collapse is now on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrQOQznFdKM but not sure of copyright status (from Press Association). Would it be worth linking to as an external link?— Rod talk 09:33, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Rodw: - That particular video is best avoided, as it is copyright of the Press Association. A video by a private individual would be a much better choice, and useable as an external link. Mjroots (talk) 10:48, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Recent images

[edit]

There are quite a few at flickr, such as this one. Perhaps some of the photographers might be persuaded to allow them into the public domain? Martinevans123 (talk) 23:24, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Updates

[edit]

N. Yorks C.C. are providing regular progress updates on the bridge here and Historic England have produced a fulsome history and report on the bridge - it's a 1Mb PDF and can be found here — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zir (talkcontribs) 11:21, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I've added the report in External links. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:16, 9 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
