If it's true that Syzygium malaccense is commonly known as Malay apple or Pommerac, why not move this article to Malay apple or Pommerac as per WP:Commonname? Chrisrus (talk) 13:48, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adding in Nutrition Information

[edit]

I would like to add more nutrtion information to this page related to the food value of the edible portion.

As seen here: https://hort.purdue.edu/newcrop/morton/malay_apple.html#Food%20Uses — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kseaton3 (talkcontribs) 17:33, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The nutrition table is screwed up. Surely there aren't 20 *grams* of riboflavin per 100g of edible portion? Several other nutrients are listed in implausible amounts. Bernd Jendrissek (talk) 23:53, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As this fruiting tree is a popular food source in Australia, may I suggest adding a link to "Bush Tucker" under "see also," and also add a link at the bottom to "Bushfood." See these pages for confirmation that they're consumed in Australia: https://yuruga.com.au/yuruga-info-sheets/bush-tucker-for-north-qld/ and https://apps.lucidcentral.org/rainforest/text/entities/syzygium_malaccense.htm

It should also then be added to both of the lists under "Bush Tucker" and "Bushfood."

I don't know how to add links. Tzali (talk) 14:49, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
