List of command line utilities for windows that get information about the system
[edit]Hello, just added systeminfo, but there is another one, which I just can't remember right now. Please if you have more command line utilities for windows, add them. Thank you! --HappyInGeneral (talk) 12:37, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Seems like this and System monitor should be merged. Fordsfords (talk) 13:43, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
- I withdraw the suggestion. They are different. Fordsfords (talk) 20:38, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
"In Microsoft Windows some similar information may be found by getting properties on My Computer on the desktop."
Just wanted to point out that's wrong. The one on the desktop is a shortcut and you'll just get the shortcut properties. It's the one in the start menu that's the real one. (although I'm using XP...maybe it's different in Vista and Win7) Oh oops...Ok I withdraw that. It's one way on one of my computers and the other way on the other. I'll just assume the one I have that has a shortcut to my computer on the desktop is the exception to the rule.
