1969-1974
[edit]1969-1972, not 1969-1974, at least according to OCLC 437303687 (Sikorski Manuscript Facsimile Edition Score (1991)) (not the first publication, I think- it was published, I believe, by some incarnation of Muzgiz soon after composition - but this publication's title includes the dates, presumably taken from the manuscript itself. Over-reliance on Ross as Source
[edit]This article currently relies too heavily on Alex Ross as a source, and Ross quotes and citations should be removed or at least balanced with ones from other sources. Ross was and is a noted anticommunist cold war partisan, and is unreliable as a source on that basis. Much of the quotes and citations to Ross are currently about Ross' opinions and "argument" rather than facts as such, and the notability of Ross' opinions (as opposed to the opinions of others, none of whom are cited) is questionable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.104.197.154 (talk) 14:15, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
