The official name premitted by CAAC is "Wuxi Shuofang Airport" (http://www.caac.gov.cn/GYMH/MHGK/MYJC/), "Sunan Shuofang International Airport" is a unofficially name and CAAC is strictly managing the usage of airport name.

  • Oppose. A quick Internet search such as this one shows clearly that the name in common use is Sunan Shuofang International Airport, with Wuxi Sunan Shuofang International Airport also used. Wikipedia's consensus policy on article titles applies, see WP:COMMONNAME. This overrides any "official" ruling. Of course, we do need to state - and cite verifiably - the official position as well, and the article already does this fulsomely. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 12:13, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
