Erroneous Everest

[edit]

The cited work by Mark Biggert does not list Everest as the 10th farthest, it instead lists Alpamayo at number 10. Dedosoda (talk) 06:35, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistent spelling

[edit]

The article uses the American English spelling "center" in the title, but the British English spelling "centre" in the body. For consistency, I have changed all instances of "centre" to "center". — Foxtrot1296 (talk) 16:44, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Missing mountains in cited work

[edit]

The cited article only includes peaks above 5500m, Mt Kenya didn't make that cut but using the same spreadsheet as the author of the cited work it's 13th most distant peak, making the Everest position incorrect. It is possible other peaks near the equator might be missing from the list. CodeTom (talk) 16:31, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
