where can pagoda tree can be bought usa

There are two variations of the pagoda tree, one from genus sophora and the other styphnolobium

[edit]

While it is true that some Pagoda trees do not fix nitrogen and are properly classified as Styphnolobium japonicum, there are, however, some that do fix nitrogen and exhibit Mycorrhiza relationships with fungi. Reference http://news.bbc.co.uk/dna/place-lancashire/plain/A80841666 and research article dated 2011: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20435753, "Paenibacillus sophorae sp. nov., a nitrogen-fixing species isolated from the rhizosphere of Sophora japonica."

Therefore, wiki article should be revised to indicate both variations, one from each genus can exist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.178.96.6 (talk) 00:31, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
