chaff as short pieces of straw
[edit]The intro says, I think correctly, that straw excludes chaff. But the first use, Animal feed, says that when straw has been hacked into small pieces to be used as feed, it is called chaff. So this must be two different meanings of chaff. The article on chaff does not mention short pieces of straw. Is there another name for this meaning of chaff? - Probably an oversight, maybe do some cleanup on this? I guess the way I'd put it is not all chaff is straw, but straw can be chaff...Montanabw(talk) 21:19, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
