Contested deletion
[edit]It seems to me that this article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because the organisation has attracted significant attention in the media as well as on social media. A number of the organisation's actions led to public scandals in Russia. A Chechen official (representative of Chechnya in Moscow) was dismissed from office after the organisation's activists posted a youtube video of the official's wife and son threatening them and attacking them in Moscow (after the activists asked them to repark their car). See refs and the two relatively detailed articles about this organisation on other wikis. The organisation's youtube channel has close to 19 million views. Proposed move to StopXam
[edit]Would anyone object if I moved this page to StopXam? "StopXam" is how the organization writes it in all of its English-language materials that I've seen (see, for example, its YouTube channel and the logo used). "StopHam" is how its pronounced, and I've seen some media use that spelling, but it seems like the organization itself and most RS use the spelling "StopXam". I think it should be moved per WP:COMMONNAME, WP:ABOUTSELF, and as an additional bonus, it won't need to be disambiguated from "Stopham". I don't think this is controversial but I'm posting here before doing it just in case I'm wrong. Thanks. Levivich? ! 18:31, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
- Seeing as there are no responses, and the RSes support the spelling StopXam instead of StopHam, I believe this move is noncontroversial and will perform it in the next day or so if there are no objections. Leviv ich 02:17, 15 April 2019 (UTC)
