Why does "stillingia oil" have that name?

Why does "stillingia oil" have that name? Sources say that it comes from the seeds of Sapium sebiferum or Sapium discolor (now called Triadica sebifera and Triadica cochinchinensis), not from this plant.
But this plant too has oiliferous seeds (see ref). Is its oil called "sapium oil" perchance, by the principle of Maximum Confusion?--Jorge Stolfi (talk) 02:50, 28 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
