Date of birth
[edit]I put 1971. However, this only a guess based on the assumption he is currently 35. - LeonWhite 22:44, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
Nescafe
[edit]Shouldn't his Nescafe adverts be mentioned? --Donnald 11:31, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Removal of trivia section
[edit]The material was unsourced and the paragraph on Greenwing was very poorly written. It contained nothing relevant to Mangan, and nothing that should be salvaged for the Greenwing article. The part about the number of sweets was very poorly sourced and irrelevant.--THobern 03:13, 7 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by THobern (talk • contribs)
Recent television series
[edit]Can there please be something on the recent television series he has been co-presenting, with Sue Perkins and Alison Steadman, on BBC Two on Wednesdays about different parts of the country? I think it is called "All Roads Lead Home". ACEOREVIVED (talk) 20:11, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
The programme on October 5 2011 was about Cornwall, and the programme on October 12 2011 was about Ireland. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 20:13, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
Date of birth (again)
[edit]I've noticed that IMDB states his date of birth is 22 July 1972 rather than the 22 July 1968 cited here. I note the citation of his date of birth as 1968 is from Ancestry.co.uk (subscription only unfortunately). However, his own website states 1972 as a year of birth, so I assume it would be safe to assume this is more accurate? [1] Bob talk 22:13, 25 March 2012 (UTC)
- Well, it's not empirical evidence, but I do know that, despite his website potentially proclaiming him to be younger than he really is, he was in the same year as my brother at Cambridge university, and my brother was born in 1968. The Ancestry.co.uk age is therefore most likely the correct year. Sorry Stephen! Jellinek (talk) 16:05, 11 April 2012 (UTC)
As the article states, he was in the same year as Dom Joly at Haileybury (and I was in the year below them both and I'm born in 1969!). Joly's dob is listed on Wikipedia as Nov 1967. So I agree that July 1968 is more likely than July 1972. Sorry Stephen!--FatherSnitch (talk) 14:48, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
The article presently suggests that he had completed 3 year degrees at both of Cambridge and RADA by the age of 22. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.114.150.45 (talk) 05:35, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
This profile says that he turned 47 in May 2015: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/tv/features/stephen-mangan-interview-from-posh-buffoon-to-pregnant-dad-the-actor-has-quite-a-range-10279679.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.114.150.45 (talk) 12:42, 14 February 2016 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Stephen Mangan
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Stephen Mangan's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 18:46, 10 February 2014 (UTC)
