But What Does He Believe / Represents?
[edit]Should not the article be more about what ideas he believes in or represents? I believe that this article should be marked for improvement! WikiSceptic 17:15, 9 October 2005 (UTC)
I agree. I came to it from a link related to Black Conservatism, but this article doesn't mention it directly. 63.3.9.129 (talk) 01:22, 29 December 2009 (UTC)
changed redirect
[edit]Steven Carter previously redirected here, with a note to also refer to American author Steven A. Carter. Steven Carter now redirects to Steven A. Carter, since that's actually his name. I modified the note to see him also. Since both Carters are in fact American writers, I referred to him as a self-help writer, since the bulk of his work appears to be in that field. -- stubblyhead | T/c 01:48, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
WSJ article
[edit]The Wall Street Journal carried an interesting opinion column about Prof Carter here. Cheers, CWC 09:43, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Why does such a point have to be made that the president of the college is black. I am 64 years old and no longer think of people as of a different race, color or creed. Isn't it time to stop thinking of people as of a certain color or ethnic and just be i.e. a college president. How can we be moving forward when we refuse to move at all. |

Novels
[edit]I am working my way through Carter's bibliography and producing articles for each fiction book. Progress to date:
- The Emperor of Ocean Park - live, has featured on WP:DYK, I'm going to take it to Wikipedia:Good articles at some point
- New England White, live, has featured on WP:DYK
- Palace Council, now live
- Jericho's Fall, yet to start
- The Impeachment of Abraham Lincoln, yet to start
- The Church Builder, yet to start
- Back Channel (novel), yet to start
Not a work of fiction but The Culture of Disbelief is an unreferenced stub which needs a lot of work.
I'm also piggling away at Carter's article itself as I go. Any copy editing or assistance would be appreciated. Cheers, Fish+Karate 10:13, 20 April 2018 (UTC)
- Updated 4 June 2018, Palace Council now live. Fish+Karate 14:03, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
