GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose is "clear and concise", without copyvios, or spelling and grammar errors:
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
A couple formatting and appearance issues, see comments.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. Has an appropriate reference section:
    B. Citation to reliable sources where necessary:
Sources are offline, and some of those are in Hungarian. Accepting AGF.
    C. No original research:
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    Provides excellent context.
    B. Focused:
Does not stray into unnecessary detail.
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
No bias that I can find. Opinions are attributed to historians.
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are tagged with their copyright status, and valid fair use rationales are provided for non-free content:
A couple images needed a parameter filled out, so I went ahead and took that liberty. Other than that, good to go.--¿3family6 contribs 21:39, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
    B. Images are provided if possible and are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
    Just a few issues that I highlight below.--¿3family6 contribs 18:42, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Citation placement - throughout the article, there are quotes or statements that are immediately followed by a comma (which is fine) and then a citation, followed by an "according to ___" statement, which has it's own citation. Both citations can be moved to the end of the sentence, which will improve flow.

Block quote - the first block quote, attributed to Manuel I, does not appear indented, even though it is, because of the image beside it. To resolve this will involve some tweaking of the article format, and might require the image to be moved or resized.--¿3family6 contribs 18:42, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
