recent move
[edit]There are no sources that use the diacritic in his name. He was born in New Zealand and it doesn't allow for diacritics on birth certificates. The move should not have happened without sources (not just one, but multiple). 20:21, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- The source for his full name is dead but it was archived: https://web.archive.org/web/20120325193849/http://www.fifadata.com/document/FWYC/2011/pdf/FWYC_2011_SquadLists.pdf and it lists his name as "Stefan MARINOVICMARINOVIC Stefan Tone MARINOVIC07.10.1991 GKWehen (GER)190" without the diacritics. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:24, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
- Not even the German press used the diacritic: https://web.archive.org/web/20100502061218/http://www.wiesbadener-kurier.de/sport/lokalsport/fussball/8819270.htm Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:37, 20 August 2020 (UTC)
