Title
[edit]According to Amazon, the movie's title is StarStruck, without space. Josh (talk) 04:20, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
I agree, the title of the movie is written as StarStruck, with no space. The creator of the article had a misspelling in the name of the movie. Also, if you go on the Disney Channel website, the movie is scripted as StarStruck. Megh10 (talk) 04:56, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Cast list
[edit]Where is the cast list being inserted in the article coming from? It's not at IMDB and not in the YouTube video cited for the one actress and main star. —C.Fred (talk) 02:58, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
I cannot guarantee where the cast list for StarStruck came from, but there is a cast list for it on IMDb. The movie is written as StarStruck, with no space, as noted above, but the IMDb article has it written as only Starstruck, which is incorrect. Megh10 (talk) 04:56, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
The main cast was shown on TV on both Disney Channel and the Family Channel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.131.66.133 (talk) 18:44, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Wilde or Wilder?
[edit]Other than the Amazon soundtrack listing, where is the name Christopher Wilde for the male protagonist coming from? The Disney Society story used as a source for the cast list calls him Christopher Wilder. —C.Fred (talk) 02:02, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
It is Christopher Wilde. Disney Channel and disneychannel.com wrote it as "Wilde". Also, when you hear people (including the cast) talk about it, they pronounce it as Wilde. Mld566 (talk) 19:31, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
I agree. The main character's name is Christopher Wilde. The website that listed the name as Christopher Wilder probably had a typo while creating the article. It is Wilde. Megh10 (talk) 04:56, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- Where on the Disney Channel site can I find a page? I don't really want to wade through the whole thing. —C.Fred (talk) 21:03, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
At the very top where the other shows are. The last picture is for StarStruck and if you click on it, it will bring you to the StarStruck page. Or you could use this link: www.disneychannel.com/starstruck. Mld566 (talk) 22:20, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Anna Margaret?
[edit]Three different IPs have replaced Campbell with Anna Margaret in the track listings in the last three days. Is there any validity to this edit, or is this an IP-hopping vandal? —C.Fred (talk) 23:04, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
Replacing Campbell with Margaret on the track listing would be incorrect. According to the release of the StarStruck movie soundtrack, these names have been officially listed as Anna Margaret. All said, Anna Margaret would be the correct name for the track listing. Megh10 (talk) 04:56, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
Soundtrack: performed by…?
[edit]Since we cite the Amazon track listing as a source, I've reset this section (again) so it agrees with what's listed there. Since the soundtrack lists the songs by the characters "Christopher Wilde" and "Stubby" under the character names, I've noted that on the track listing as well. (While it's apparently just a rumour that Knight doesn't do his own singing, I'm not doing the synthesis to say that because Knight played the character, he did the singing as well; I'm just listing what the source says.)
So, my question is this: does anybody have a source that gives the credits otherwise? Information must be verifiable; unless a source can be provided to say anything different on the singing, we need to go with what the cited source—in this case, Amazon—says. —C.Fred (talk) 17:37, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
So far, no source has been cited as to who really does the singing on the part of Christopher Wilde. The CD soundtrack does have listings that say, 'Additional vocals by Drew Ryan Scott', although it has not been verified who is the official singer for Christopher Wilde. Megh10 (talk) 04:56, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
The movie credits and IMDB list Christopher Wilde's songs as performed by Sterling Knight, and it is well known Sterling is also a singer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Limolover (talk • contribs) 10:18, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Hi, Yes it is confirmed and I have contacted Disney about it. Drew Ryan Scott sang all song except for " What you mean to me". He was a backup vocalist for that song. I am a public user. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.233.220.187 (talk) 01:10, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Starstruck Poster
[edit]I feel that the poster should be replaced with a different image because the image is basically repeating twice. --67.86.58.199 (talk) 19:06, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent point. Do you know of a link to a different poster? Liquidluck✽talk 19:17, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
- I would say the best thing to do is to use the DVD cover of the movie. --DisneyFriends (talk) 06:46, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- the image will be there for another while. It won't be out in DVD at least until April (ABC airs it in March). Also, DVD usually comes out 5 months after the release, June I guess. Josh (talk) 10:52, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Styled as StarStruck?
[edit]The lede of the article still refers to the title being styled as StarStruck. Other than the poster, where the second S is a larger cap, every other reference throughout the article is to Starstruck. Since the poster lettering is stylized, I'm taking that out of the lede unless sources are presented where the camel-case title is used. —C.Fred (talk) 20:27, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Release section
[edit]A large portion of the edits to this article are the addition, removal, and readdition of certain countries (e.g., Turkey) from the Release section of the article. While I don't think we need to strip all the release dates out, I do think it's time to ask the question, where can these release dates be verified? With a proper citation to the release date in place, it's very easy to argue to keep the date in the table. —C.Fred (talk) 17:40, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
