The article says that Star of Indiana made finals its first year and every year after that until it folded. The article also says that this is unmatched by any other Corps. I have to disagree, the Santa Clara Vanguard has made finals every year since the formation of DCI, and has never placed outside of 8th place. I think perhaps Vanguard shood be mentioned in this article, or the statemet that Star was the only one to make finals every year since it joined DCI should be removed or re-worded. I respectfully disagree...while Vanguard did indeed make finals every year of DCI's existence, they had been on the field for 5 years prior during the VFW/CYO days. Star came out of the box making finals in the DCI era in it's first year of existence, beating many prior finalist corps (27th and Bridgemen, for example). And only Star can claim they made finals every year of their time on the field. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.247.116.243 (talk) 09:21, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
