Hello, I'm MarioSoulTruthFan and I'll be reviewing this article over the weekend.

Infobox

[edit]
  • Needs "alt".

Lead

[edit]
  • "American recording group Destiny's Child" → American girl group Destiny's Child
  • "any other major music chart". → remove major

Background and release

[edit]
  • "poor families" → too informal
  • "She further talked about the song" → She furthered saying
  • "that New Zealand radio stations play "Stand Up for Love"" → "Stand Up for Love" to be played in New Zealand radio stations
  • "that New Zealand radio stations play" → New Zealand radio stations to play
  • asked radio stations → which radio stations? + user some word to replace "radio stations". This section has at least 3 times the two words "radio stations".
  • UK and Canada dates should also be mentioned along with the format.

Recording and composition

[edit]
  • "along with his daughter Amy Foster-Gillies and Beyoncé" → the latter is not credited, so please remove it.
  • "Vinnie Colaiuta and Paulinho Da Costa played drums and percussion respectively while Nathan East was responsible for the bass". → Nathan East was responsible for playing the bass, while Vinnie Colaiuta and Paulinho Da Costa handled the drums and percussion, respectively.
  • Remove "(4:46)"
  • He didn't "found elements of adult contemporary music" → he said that the song genre is "adult contemporary", quite different.

Reception

[edit]
  • "Pitchfork Media's" → from the context I don't understand if it's a good o bad review, needs clarification.

Promotion

[edit]
  • Change section name to "Music video and live performances".
  • "Stand Up for Love" was sung by the band again that day at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Los Angeles for World Children's Day" → On the same day, the single was sung by them at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Los Angeles for World Children's Day.

Cover versions

[edit]
  • the South Korean" → remove "the"
  • "At the 2014 Miss Thailand World, contestant Maeya performed "Stand Up for Love" in June 2014" → At the 2014 Miss Thailand World, contestant Maeya performed "Stand Up for Love" in June of the same year.

Credits and personnel

[edit]
  • Use " –" instead of "-" (click to edit to copy it properly)

Track listings

[edit]
  • Change section name to "Formats and track listing"

Release and radio history

[edit]
  • Unlike Format(s) and label.

References

[edit]
  • Reference 23 is dead.
  • This is a song by an American recording group, consider reversing the dates to mdy format.
[edit]
  • Add lyrics of the song by MetroLyrics

Marvelous article, I will put in on hold until you fix the issues I raised. "Ping" me when you are done. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:00, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@My love is love: nice work you just forgot to "unlink" on the "release and radio history". I have also made two changes in the article besides the former I cited. Please see if you are ok with them, if so it will pass to GA. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:43, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
