Plans to release cover of 'Fairytale of New York' with Shaun Ryder
[edit]According to LondonNet, Stacey and Shaun Ryder are going to release a cover version of 'Fairytale of New York' as a downloadable single. Could this be added? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.29.109.169 (talk) 20:23, 13 December 2010 (UTC)
- If you provide a source this information would be added. Thamerr (talk) 23:45, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Early life
[edit]Can both the following be true?
"She is a single mother to a young son.[4]" "Solomon is in a relationship with her son's father, Aaron.[5]"
Even if not married, she isn't a single mother, surely? Regards, Lynbarn (talk) 16:41, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Dagenham is in London. That is why there is a London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. It was formed in 1965. Yes, previously Essex but not in 2011. That is why they have underground stations, the 0208 number code and red London buses. I would appreciate it if Americans would improve their geographical knowledge before editing a page, misleading readers who use Wikipedia as a reliable source of information is completely unnecessary and inessential. Thamerr (talk) 23:53, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes it's in London, but the fact it has underground stations isn't really relevant as there are London Underground stations in Essex, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Also you should know it's 020, not 0208 (which also isn't exclusive to London) ;) AnemoneProjectors 23:24, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- Part of a London Borough is the most important definition of London. Justgravy (talk) 23:07, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
'Celebrity Mum of the Year'
[edit]This article contained some content about her apparently being designated 'Celebrity Mum of the Year' one year, then removed from the shortlist the next. I've removed this from the article as trivia. Unless anyone can demonstrate that this is actually a notable award or worth remarking on, it shouldn't be here - this article should focus on her life and accomplishments, not media coverage. Robofish (talk) 02:27, 9 March 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not putting it back - I don't care about Stacey Solomon - but the subject of this article is defined entirely by media coverage. She has no accomplishments, and her life is no different from that of millions of others. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 17:54, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

Filmography
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians, As she is a television personality and in some cases presenter, as well as guest on many shows, should I precede with adding a filmography section? Thank you for your consideration -HyacinthBucket55 (talk) 07:33, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Birth
[edit]The source named "Birth" that supposedly verifies that she was born in Dagenham only says that she is a Dagenham local, and says nothing about where she was born. A better source is needed here. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 11:13, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Sirfurboy I added a citation from Findmypast https://www.findmypast.co.uk/blog/discoveries/stacey-solomon showing that Stacey was born in Dagenham. Is this source is of a high enough standard for me to delete the other citation? DgmYCeamBUSt (talk) 11:48, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources lists FindMyPast as "generally unreliable" and cautions against use of user generated family trees, as well as noting problems with relying on primary sources. However the reference you have introduced is by the FindMyPast team, and posted in an article by them. The article is their research, but presented with evidence and at least as reliable as many newspaper sources. I think this passes muster and that the other citation, and the template can be removed now. Thanks for this. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 14:04, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
