Merger proposal

[edit]

@Philafrenzy: I propose that Roman Catholic Church of St. James be merged into St James's, Spanish Place, as they both cover the same topic. The style of the latter title is also more consistent with those of other articles. Ham II (talk) 12:00, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, clearly the same place. Philafrenzy (talk) 12:08, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Philafrenzy: Thanks for the speedy merger! Ham II (talk) 12:10, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:St James's Church Interior 2, Spanish Place, London, UK - Diliff.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on February 26, 2017. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2017-02-26. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 02:06, 22 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

St James's, Spanish Place
The interior of St James's Church, Spanish Place, a large English Gothic Roman Catholic church in Marylebone, London. Although currently situated in George Street, the church maintains its connection with Spanish Place, the road opposite the current church, because of its historic connection with the Spanish Embassy. It is grade II* listed with Historic England.Photograph: David Iliff
