First RC cathedral built after the Reformation?

[edit]

This needs a citation. St George's Southwark and St Chad's Birmingham can't both be the first since the reformation, but both Wikipedia entries make the same claim. C0pernicus (talk) 23:06, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

They were both among the first four raised to be cathedrals on 21 April 1852 (with Nottingham and Salford): have fixed this and provided a reference. Lyndwood (talk) 17:54, 22 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The section about the choir in older versions was very similar to the official site of the Cathedral, and I think it violated the copyright. I deleted the problematic sentences. Perhaps the violation began in this version at 18:45, 31 July 2006 and ended in my edit at 09:29, 1 September 2016. Maybe these versions should be deleted. --さえぼー (talk) 09:42, 1 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The abovementioned section suspected of copyright infringement was removed, but was reinstated in this edit. I deleted the section again in this edit. Please don't violate copyright regulations. --さえぼー (talk) 05:49, 4 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Masonic Temple?

[edit]

The church has hosted some organo concerts held by a network of musicians who were clesely connected to the Freemasonry (p. 34). It could be eventually believed to be enough for a pertinent categorization.
