Pope / White
[edit]"... Christ Church, Oxford, which sold it to Thomas Pope in 1553 for St John's College". I suspect that, despite following a reliable source, Thomas Pope (the founder of Trinity College, Oxford) is an error for Thomas White (merchant) (founder of St John's College, Oxford). - Following other sources, I have altered it to White. Nedrutland (talk) 10:48, 27 June 2023 (UTC)
