[edit]St Aldate's or St Aldates? Discuss. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.221.151.149 (talk) 22:05, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
- Saint Aldate was the Saint in question, so the church named after him is St Aldate's. --GuillaumeTell 00:34, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Gordon Hickson (listed as a Vicar in the current version of the article) is said to be 'moving on at Christmas' according to http://www.staldates.org.uk/image/PDF/Essential%20Dates%20&%20Community_2010-09-19.pdf I am not an expericned Wikipedia user, and am wondering whether is is appropriate to make a note in the Wikipedia article that Gordon Hickson will be leaving his post in around Christmas 2010 and if so, how this should be included in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.145.121.20 (talk) 12:09, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
My memory of St Aldate's from roughly 60 years ago is that it was the prominent low church in Oxford. Is that still the case and if so should it be added to the article? --Bduke (talk) 08:27, 10 June 2022 (UTC)
