Earlier church
[edit]There seems to be an earlier church in Drogheda dedicated to St. Peter, as evidenced by the John Colton (bishop) article. In cases such as this, where the new establishment isn't on the site of the old church, it's still common for the article on the new one to say something like
There was an earlier church in Drogheda dedicated to St.Peter, which was active from the 12th to the 15th century; the site where it stood is now a branch of Aldi
