St. James Centre → Edinburgh St James – New shopping centre is called Edinburgh St James - current page title represents old centre (now demolished). Camali2003 (talk) 14:56, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
- Support - 5 first results on Google are all "Edinburgh St James", The centre may continue to be called "St James Centre" even after rebuild but that isn't a reason to keep the old name, Given the new name seems to be used more than the old one I support moving, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:18, 7 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose. Google is not a reliable secondary source so we have no relevant evidence that the rebranding has taken hold yet and should not move until and unless we do. Andrewa (talk) 17:57, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose At the moment it is too early to say whether we should have two articles "Edinburgh St James" about the new centre and St. James Centre about the old one, or a single article covering both. AlasdairW (talk) 18:26, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per AlasdairW. At this point the article remains primarily about the previous shopping centre and its redevelopment. When the new shopping centre opens and we have more to write about, we should reconsider moving the article. feminist Wear a mask to protect everyone 03:07, 17 April 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per AlasdairW. We should reconsider this later, but it's very possible either that the two centres will be different enough to merit an article each, or that the new mall will be regarded as a reincarnation of the old and St. James's Centre [sic] will remain its COMMONNAME.
