Genre of Spotless: Comedy or Drama?

[edit]

To those who are concerned:

I realize Variety.com did refer to Spotless as a "dark comedy series", though not in the article cited by the Wiki author. (It was actually written here: http://variety.com/2014/tv/global/tandem-and-canal-plus-unveils-international-cast-of-spotless-1201243454/.)

However, having watched the series myself, I definitely do not agree. There are a few humorous moments, but overall, Spotless is a crime drama.

Before I edit this aspect of the Wiki article, I'd like to have the input of other Wikipedians.

Is it accurate to follow Variety.com's lead and call Spotless a "dark comedy", or does make more sense to say it's a "crime drama"? How about a phrase like this: "a crime drama peppered with dark humor".

Thanks!

I started a similar discussion regarding The Young Montalbano. I suspect the consensus would be the same: it's primarily a drama, with occasional comedic aspects ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 18:27, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
