Questions and Concerns

[edit]

1. Since December 2019, there has been a surge in Speedway gasbars in the Pacific Northwest (Washington State) which is not in align with the content on wiki regarding their expansions.

2. where does super america primarily get there gas from?

Speedy Rewards

[edit]

Anyone have any information on this rewards program and if so, is it relevant to this article? StarkyD (talk) 18:30, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing out that glaring omission, StarkyD. What a shame that nobody noticed it for over a year. At any rate, it's in there now. Aesire (talk) 19:36, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

SSA gets their gas primarily from Marathon. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.70.218.25 (talk) 03:24, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with Hess

[edit]

With Speedway petrolium taking over all Hess_Corporation I believe that this should somehow be merged. VegasCasinoKid (talk) 09:35, 18 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Location map

[edit]

I think having a map of Speedway locations with their rapid expansion the past few years--both organically as well as through M&A--could help clean up the location list of states that only a few years ago had a handful of Midwestern states but now has 30 states listed. Other chains such as Sheetz have similar maps. Thoughts? Jgera5 (talk) 23:57, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Additions in green, removals in red.
@Jgera5:, I finally added a footprint map for Speedway. Actually, I've been meaning to for a while, but this seemed like an apropos time. But, the phrasing of your suggestion got me curious. So, I made another footprint map comparing additions and removals between June 2018 & August 2020. Of course, it's NSFW (Not Suited for Wikipedia), so I'm just putting it here on the talk page.

Speedway LLCSpeedway (store) – With 7-Eleven now fully owning Speedway, there's no reason that it should be listed as a wholly-owned subsidiary with the LLC tag when Speedway will be integrated as another brand of 7-Eleven, if the chain itself isn't rebranded as 7-Eleven altogether. (see A-Plus and Stripes Convenience Stores as examples) The naming convention also follows that of other convenience stores such as Lawson (store). Thanks!
