This article was tagged for speedy deletion under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion but a reviewing administrator or uninvolved experienced editor (DESiegel (talk)) declined the request on the basis that: There are claims of significance here including the rare medical condition, and this is not at the G11 level of promotion IMO. This article should not be tagged again for speedy deletion under the same criterion and, unless a valid, separate speedy deletion basis exists, further attempts at deleting this article should be made via the proposed deletion process (prod) if uncontroversial, or the article taken to articles for deletion (AfD) for debate on the merits. Note: this template should be removed once the associated article has survived an AfD debate; or has been significantly changed such that further speedy deletion requests are unlikely. |

Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because...the person in question is notable enough to pass WP:GNG. A documentary film has been made on his life. He has been featured on notable TV shows Little_Big_Shots, Kaun_Banega_Crorepati, and has many articles from notable sources like Huffpost[1], Times_Of_India[2], India_Today[3], Hindustan_Times[4], Rajasthan_Patrika[5], Dainik_Bhaskar[6], NDTV[7]. There are many more articles. I will add links to those one by one, but seriously what kind of research has been done by the nominating editor before putting this page for speedy deletion or even redirect to a documentary film page of this person? I just undid the redirect with proper justification in professional tone and still immediately this page was nominated for speedy delete itself suggests that the references stated on the page has not been checked before such harsh decision. Just because I undid the redirect by senior editor doesn't mean that page should not be given enough research and chance to be on Wikipedia. Lastly I would go with whatever decision is made for this page by the administrators. Thanks. --MovieLoverFan (talk) 13:20, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
