Reception overquoting
[edit]Wikipedia:Copyediting reception sections has some tips on reorganizing the Reception section for better paraphrase and flow (not watching, please {{ping}}

- @Czar: I've rewritten the reception section to hopefully address your concerns. Bennv3771 (talk) 06:12, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- Nicely done! But if possible, I'd recommend routing out all quotes except those necessary. (We try to minimize non-free use as an encyclopedia and often the flavor provided by quotes is better expressed through original paraphrase.) czar 13:52, 25 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Czar: Ok, I've routed out the quotes save for a few quoted words/short phrases. Bennv3771 (talk) 05:03, 27 March 2018 (UTC)

Americans in other people's civil war
[edit]No criticism, only an aside: American fought in the Cuban independence-from-Spain thing - "Spanish-American War" (two Americans even fought in Castro's rebellion). And they fought to counter the North Korean invasion into the South; basically the same in Vietnam. And World War 1 was an European civil war.-Ralfdetlef (talk) 07:14, 16 July 2022 (UTC)

If the excerpt is a fairly short one, not more than a paragraph or two, and is properly credited to my book, it’s fine with me if you quote it on Wikipedia.
