Stop writing Sasha Grey is a pornstar

[edit]

She is a former pornstar but she is currently a actress and musician so there is no reason for it to say she is a pornstar. Stop changes my edits.

Stop writing Sasha Grey is a pornstar. She is a actress and musician. She is not a pornstar anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.108.120.82 (talk) 15:49, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Review

[edit]
Lead
Development
  • "He had me strip down the verses [...] and make the track a little more hip hop, and he sent it out. I didn't really believe that it would end up on Eminem's album, let alone be a single." -- Who said this?
  • Since FN6 is dead much of this section needs to be removed or a new reference found.
Composition and reception
  • "Space Bound" is an alternative hip hop song with influences of progressive rock and rock music. -- Reference?
  • Slant Magazine gave a negative review on Recovery as a whole and disliked "Space Bound". "Eminem can't talk to women and he never could, so when he threatens to strangle anyone who leaves him, the peril feels forced and wholly off-putting." -- Who from Slant Magazine?
  • Delink Recovery. Already linked in above section.
Music video
  • A music video for "Space Bound" was filmed over three days in February 2011, in Los Angeles, California,[12] and was produced over approximately five months. → The music video for "Space Bound" was filmed over three days in February 2011, in Los Angeles, California,[12] and was produced over approximately five months.
  • The video was directed by Joseph Kahn,[12]... → It was directed by Joseph Kahn,[12]...
  • Photos of the video shooting were released and two low quality snippets of the then-unfinished video leaked. -- Reference? Statements like this need a reliable source.
  • Add (2000) after The Marshall Mathers LP.
Credits and personnel
  • Everything looks fine here.
Charts and certifications
  • Though it isn't required, I recommend you archive these remaining chart positions as there is no telling when they can go bad. I've learned that the hard way.
  • Since the Billboard link required registration don't worry about it being dead. Its treated the same.
Release history
  • You claim in the Infobox that the song was released as digital download. This table only shows radio release history.
References
  • FN2: What makes this reliable?
  • FN3: Needs a full citation
  • FN4: ^So does this one
  • FN6: Dead
  • FN7: Unreliable?
  • FN10: Needs publisher
  • FN11: Needs publisher also
  • FN12: Link MTV
  • FN13: Needs to be formatted better.
  • FN17: Needs publisher (Apple)
  • FN22: Delink MTV News
  • FN36: Use (subscription required) better.

References
  • References 10 & 11 need formatting. I see that these are Twitter posts, thus making them unreliable.
  • Other refs I consider unreliable for GA: 19 and 21 (Gigwise and InMusic).
Media
  • The synopsis image is legitimately updated and contains proper use rationale.
  • I think an audio sample would serve well here, since we're discussing a specific song.
Prose
  • The introduction should summarize the entire article. Exclude all references from here, and introduce information about the song's background and development, as well as a bit more about the controversy.
  • pornographic actress should be de-linked.
  • The 'Development' section seems not fully researched. How about adding information regarding the inspiration or interesting facts about its writing/recording?
  • Same for 'Composition and reception'. GA song must feature a detailed analysis about the musical structure and lyrics, which can be obtained from the album reviews.
  • The video section seems the most organized part. It has all the necessary features, so no complaints here.
  • The tables are also properly formatted and referenced.
Generally speaking, I'm little skeptical about the articles chances of reaching the good article status. A lot of work needs to be done here, but I'll give you a try.--Retrohead (talk) 17:44, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed that the nominator is unavailable to complete the notes, so I'll close the nomination. There was awful amount of work that needs to be done here, and I don't think it can be sorted out in near future.--Retrohead (talk) 09:00, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I received a message that the nomination has failed even though i'm ready to improve the article it was not me who nominated it. Someone else might have done it using my account. I am not aware of it. Abhinav0908 (talk) 11:22, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Abhinav0908, I can re-review it for you when the article is improved. Jonas Vinther (speak to me!) 14:20, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
