Hi Ashleyyoursmile, I was looking to promote this but felt the hook was inadequate. It doesn't say much about the subject while sounding very promotional. Could you suggest some others? For example, if the desire is to convey musical diversity, perhaps include the various genre's covered in the hook. Best, CMD (talk) 16:34, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ashleyyoursmile, this has a similar issue in that it claims the album was a grand achievement, but gives no information as to why. It would be better to instead include some part of what makes it a grand achievement. Is it the wide variety of influences? It is the themes conveyed through the music? If it is the reflection of a certain London experience, what is that experience? Your hook for Cool for example included specific examples of the pop references it mentioned. Chipmunkdavis, thank you for referring to an excellent example. Here's ALT2:
My suggestion would be to remove dubstep, as the sources cited don't give it much prominence, and remove African-diasporic as it is partially redundant to some of the other genres. Would also shorten cumbia to make it match. I'd also keep the "British jazz saxophonist" introduction from your first hook! Like so: CMD (talk) 15:34, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
