Source-filter interactions
[edit]Since the article is title "Source-filter model", and it is recognized as an approximation to reality, we need a section -- or least some links to other well-focused WP articles -- that discuss the limitations or extensions to the model. (FWIW, I once heard that tonal-language tones are thought to have developed because of the effect of certain later-discarded consonants on the larynx and therefore on pitch: a clear and important violation of the model.)
