I put the article on hold, mainly because of notability concerns. I only see two sources that I would qualify as reliable sources, the two Perthnow articles, the rest I see are blogs, one forum post, a listing at a film festival (which might be considered a reliable source, but doesn't really help with notability unless it won an award there) and a tvguide listing, and a mention from a government agency which seems to exist to promote films from Western Australia, so I don't think that would be considered an unbiased third-party source. So mostly what is needed are more reliable sources. Thanks, Raven1977Talk to meMy edits 18:10, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are a few reliable sources listed at [1]. I think I'll ask someone from WP:FILM to take a look though. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 15:29, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think it's so much a question of reliable sources as it is whether or not anyone outside the Perth music community would consider this film noteworthy. Its appeal certainly is limited. Aside from a limited theatrical release in Perth and a showing at the Freemantle Outdoor Film Festival, it doesn't appear to have had any distribution. In any event, the article in its current state doesn't meet most of the guidelines of the film project. I'm going to edit it a little, but that doesn't mean I think its subject is either notable or encyclopedic in nature. LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 19:46, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I added a film infobox with image and cleaned up the text. IMHO, the article reads better now, but I still question the notability of its subject. LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 20:53, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please note: If this article is accepted, it needs to be moved to Something in the Water (film), because Something in the Water already exists. LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 21:17, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could you make the decision LM as you've spent time on this now and probably know more about the notability criteria for films than the average editor? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:26, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I decided to be bold and saved the article. I guess anyone who questions its notability can nominate it for deletion. LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 16:16, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
