Over the past few months, I've been researching the effects of the annual flash floods in southeastern Somalia. Per my class assignment, I have created a Wikipedia page detailing my research. I feel this is an important topic to create an article on because the flash floods are an annual occurrence, and affect thousands of people every year. The Somali Flash Floods are an interesting case in the differences of flood preparedness and relief between differing countries as well.
