What is the proper name for this organization?

[edit]

The Solntsevskaya Organized Crime Group (Russian: Солнцевская организованная преступная группировка), ...

Law enforcement types may "refer" to the Brotherhood as an "organized crime group," but that is certainly not the proper name by which they would refer to themselves.

also known as the Solntsevskaya Bratva (Russian: Солнцевская братва), is the largest and most powerful crime syndicate of the Russian mafia.

The term Солнцевская Братва on the other hand has a certain cadence or ring to it, as they're rapping a beat downtown in the courthouses, jails, grocery stores, mental hospitals, medical boards, judicial bars, police stations, etc. The Братва is a "cool" thing to belong to, an absolute must for the in-group to gain access to employment, housing, civil rights, medical care, food, etc. justinacolmena (talk) 22:44, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I am quite certain that the group does not refer to itself as an "organized crime group" or "criminal organization" as such, but more properly a "Brotherhood." Furthermore, in U.S. English, the term "fraternization" is used to describe the organized criminal activity of a brotherhood organization like this, in preference to the British term "serious organized crime." justinacolmena (talk) 00:31, 9 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
