To respond to those who said that this article contained material of dubious accuracy. All of this is verifiable and I have added a reference to an academically peer reviewed book that supports the statements made here. Perhaps some of you guys (i.e. males) out there don't know enough about dolls to judge the accuracy of an article

OK first, please try to be civil; second, please assume good faith. We are all trying to work to build a better encyclopedia and the only way to do that is keep our cool. Belittling those who are trying to help you is not the way to proceed. The accuracy of the article can only be judged by the sources that are provided to support it. If you can provide more, it will only help improve the article. If you need help, please ask for it either on the help desk, on the talk pagesw of other editors (me included), or by adding the {{helpme}} template to your talk page.
