So Long! → So Long (AKB48 song) – So Long lists So Long (ABBA song) and a dozen others. A "!" doesn't provide sufficient WP:CRITERIA recognizability for those looking for the Japanese song or indeed looking for any of the English ones. In ictu oculi (talk) 14:41, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support with ! There are also albums with the ! which could be confused. A similar situation can be done with Bingo! (song) -AngusWOOF (talk) 17:45, 3 March 2014 (UTC)
- Apologies Angus, I misunderstood this. Yes So Long! (AKB48 song) would be my preference too, I don't really understand why the habit seems to be to remove when adding dab, both can redirect anyway. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:13, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support punctuation is frequently kept or dropped at whim. The current title should link to the disambiguation page. -- 70.50.151.11 (talk) 01:15, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support. In this case, punctuation would be expected following the phrase, diminishing its utility as a disambiguator. bd2412 T 17:45, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: move to So Long! (AKB48 song). Armbrust The Homunculus 08:27, 18 March 2014 (UTC)
So Long (AKB48 song) → So Long! (AKB48 song) – Song has the exclamation point in the title. This isn't just a stylization parsing issue like with Cherry (Yui song). Other disambiguation articles such as Hello_(song)#Songs keep the exclamation point (or question mark) where it is part of the title. AngusWOOF (talk) 18:17, 11 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support above RM is the main improvement, glad to see we have now also got consensus for the minor question to keep the ! as well. Well done everybody. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:24, 11 March 2014 (UTC)

- Suppert. The exclamation mark is part of the title and should not be dropped. --Moscow Connection (talk) 02:32, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support: Makes sense to include the exclamation mark, since that is part of the title. --DAJF (talk) 02:39, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support, but as So long ! (AKB48 song), since the title of Japanese article has a space between 'long' and '!', as well as the title on the official video clip on YouTube, need to be accurate.---What can I do for someone?- (talk) 05:00, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
- I disagree with incorporating the double-byte exclamation in the article's title, as that is a stylization issue that would further confuse English Wikipedia users that would hardly ever use that in a search. It can be included inside the Nihongo2 Japanese text though and is already explained as a footnote. -AngusWOOF (talk) 13:48, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support, it's a matter of accuracy lssrn45 | talk 17:24, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
- Support - I realize that I voted for the above move, but I was only thinking about the ambiguity there, not removing the exclamation point. bd2412 T 16:57, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
