Channellock
[edit]When people refer to "Channellocks" they are referring to pump pliers, which use a tongue and groove to adjust the opening of the pliers. A slip joint, although having the same purpose, is not the same thing as a tongue and groove. It is therefore incorrect to refer to them as "Channellocks". PLIERS89 (talk) 13:52, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
