technology stub?

[edit]

this article was categorised as a tech-stub. is that the right stub category? as i understand it, this method of r&d doesnt have to apply to tech. im just sayin... badmachine (talk) 08:26, 20 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

additional references?

[edit]

This is labeled as needing additional references-- what else could it need? Or is the stub classification related to the doubt over whether it should be a tech stub or shifted over to business/ r&d classification? I'm going to go ahead and strip out the need for additional references, since it's looking pretty robust to me. What else would need citing?— Preceding unsigned comment added by PatienceFortitude (talkcontribs) 00:40, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

another meaning

[edit]

What's missing from the article is the widely-understood meaning of such projects as being essentially clandestine. They are projects which staff undertake using their employers' equipment (e.g. computers) without their bosses' knowledge. The internet began as skunk works. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.150.156.248 (talk) 11:24, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
