"manœuvers?"
[edit]Nobody calls skateboarding tricks manœuvers, at least in the US (we don't even have that "oe" thing in our alphabet). I assume this is derived from British English? If so, even British skateboarders refer to specialized street moves as tricks. Perhaps the editor is not actually a skateboarder?
"manœuver" reminds me of a bowel mœuvement.

Skatestoppers on escalators
[edit]Are those bumps between up and down escalators skatestoppers? This is what I was told.
You're a hard-core mofo if you're skating down between the escalators. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.65.91.78 (talk) 07:29, 6 December 2014 (UTC)
Authorised removal of skatestoppers
[edit]I have not included this in the article because I am not sure if the references are of sufficient quality, though they look quite genuine and reliable to me:
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldsKwPOWxs8&ebc "Thea's park skatestoppers removal Tacoma, WA"
- http://imgur.com/gallery/RyPWq This one includes legible photo of authorisation letter.
- http://www.uclg-cisdp.org/sites/default/files/Tacoma_2010_en_final.pdf This is one I have just come across and looks more official (good enough for inclusion in article?). It mentions removal of skate stoppers on page 4 (note use of "skate stoppers" as two words which looks like a generic term rather than a brand name). FrankSier (talk) 10:20, 19 April 2016 (UTC)
