A stub? A stub?

[edit]

Why has this been marked as stub? It has a lead + three sections. In all about 10 sentences.

See this definition at WP:PSA: "A stub is an article containing only a few sentences of text . . .". The general idea is that 'start class' articles are moderately useful but stubs are "minimally useful" (see for example the definitions at the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Composers/Assessment page). Wouldn't it would be much more productive to add information to the article. --Kleinzach 02:00, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The opera project's rating system requires opera articles to have a synopsis (not necessarily a fully developed one) in order to not be a stub for the banner rating. As for the article itself, articles with less than a 1500 character prose count are generally tagged with a stub tag. This article has roughly 750 characters of prose.
