[edit]Why does this page not mention drug trafficing. It should at least be mentioned in the article. I mean, if they produced mostly FORDS then it would be in there....lol.
- This is the exact same thing I was wondering, there is no mention whatsoever of how overwhelmingly dangerous and violent the state is, or about the numerous drug trafficking cartels and narc related murders that occur in hundreds every day.--201.166.41.5 (talk) 08:17, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- The claim that Perla Beltrán is disputable.187.149.90.32 (talk) 16:26, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
- If you guys find some reliable sources on some background information about Sinaloa's drug trafficking history, let me know! That would be a good update. Cheers, ComputerJA (talk) 18:50, 23 April 2013 (UTC
There is also no mention of drugs related to the Miami page as well. I am very suspecious of wiki and an anti-american, liberal slant. There is however, a page dedicated to the Sinaloa Cowboys, which is the infamous drug cartel in Sinaloa.
Economy
[edit]Why does it not mention anything about Chili in agriculture?, Sinaloa is the country's most important Chili-producer.DarknessEcko (talk) 05:07, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
The listed GDP figure is nonsensical and must involve various conversion errors. If 3 million people made 14 million dollars a year, they'd each be making less than five dollars a year. The number here seems much more likely. 21 billion works out per capita to nearly 8k, which is in line with expectations for a middle income economy.

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Sinaloa's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 00:47, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
Cartel
[edit]The article says this:
"The Sinaloa Cartel (Cártel de Sinaloa or CDS) has significantly influenced the culture of Sinaloa."
I'm left to wonder why, if this is so, there is only one paragraph about the cartel and it consists of the previously quoted sentence and a single follow-up sentence about the cartel being the largest in the Americas.
Clearly three is something missing in this article. 8.47.69.195 (talk) 13:44, 19 October 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Should this article have a flag inside the infobox? There is a discussion about it at WikiProject Mexico, where you can join and discuss it. (CC) Tbhotch™ 20:38, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
